Mission Haiti in Ti-Rieviere, Haiti, has presented First Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the opportunity to join hands with them in reaching the children of Haiti with the message of Christ. Mission Haiti's motto is "Love Jesus, Love Others, Make Disciples."

Mission Haiti has five areas of ministry: orphanages, school sponsorships, evangelism, medical care, and short term missions.  

After the earthquake in Haiti, many families moved from the cities into outer, rural areas like Ti-Riviere. In 2010, 1056 children were enrolled in Mission Haiti's four schools. They were unable to serve 426 more children, who were placed on a waiting list to go to school. There are currently still 260 children on the waiting list for the 2011-2012 school year.

For only $75 a year, you can provide an elementary-age child with the privilege of attending school, as well as a hot meal each day, shoes and a school uniform, school supplies, medical care (deworming once every six months) and the opportunity to hear the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. For $150 a year, you can sponsor a high school student.
