Abuse Education

Does the subject of abuse make you feel uncomfortable?  Do you find yourself avoiding conversations of how persons around us or persons in authority over us violate those we know?  If this is true, think about how it must feel to be a child who knows firsthand what uncomfortable means.  Locked in a realm of threats to secrecy, a child who has been abused not only feels uncomfortable, but also violated, exploited, betrayed, and used.  When children are victimized to meet adult needs, their lives are changed forever.  For the sake of our kids, come and learn about abuse, grooming, predators, and pedophiles.  This training is for parents, teachers, Ministry staff, elders and deacons, pastors, Safe Church committees, medical staff, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to know about abuse.  Education on abuse is Friday, December 8, @ 1 PM or 6:30 PM.  These are repeat sessions.  Request a brochure from Judy De Wit: to learn more and RSVP by Wednesday December 6.
