Sent

SENT is a group geared toward 7th and 8th grade students that meets twice a month throughout the course of the year.

What Does SENT mean?

We believe that God SENT his son, Jesus, to rescue us, Jesus SENT his Holy Spirit to dwell in us, and that we’ve been SENT to shamelessly declare that Jesus is Lord of all. For Romans 1:16 says:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes”.

In each meeting, we will unpack what it truly means to be unashamed, learn about the God we serve, encourage one another in the journey with Christ, and learn more about our role in the kingdom of God. We also do tons of fun events like retreats, lockouts, Power Connection, and other summer trips throughout the year. If you have any questions, or concerns, please feel free to contact, Elliott Johnson, Director of Middle School Ministries, at ejohnson@frcsc.org

Kid's Ee (7th Grade)

Kid's Evangelism Explosion is our Wednesday Night program offered for 7th grade students. This program is held in the David Room from 6:45-7:45 PM Wednesday Evenings.

Philia (8th Grade)

Philia means "brotherly love."

Our goal in Philia is to forge relationships and create solid bonds of Christian brotherhood and sisterhood. We mix fun with discussion on what it means to be united with Jesus Christ and each other. By the end of the year we hope to have formed a family of brothers and sisters in Christ. All 8th graders are welcome to join us every Wednesday night at 6:45 p.m. in the Youth/Family Life Center (YFLC).

LOGOS

LOGOS is our Senior High Youth Group that usually meets at 7:00 PM on Wednesday nights from September through March. LOGOS gives our young people opportunities to grow in authenticity, to grow in love, to grow in the context of supportive community - ultimately aiming our lives at having a deeper understanding who we are, who we're created to be, and who this most amazing person is (the One who created us), Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who lived, died, and rose again from the dead. Please know, if you are a visitor or stranger to our gathered group...YOU ARE WELCOME!

Rocky Mountain High

The events of Rocky Mountain High 2017 are focused around John 15 and the "RE" prefix which will challenge students to REstart, REthink, REgroup, or REarrange their priorities to be in line with the heart of Jesus. This reality is important as all of us know and take comfort in the what it means to REmain in Christ each and everyday.
